Leather Materials

Here are some popular leather materials we are using

Genuine Leather, also known as top-grain leather, is made from the hide or skin of an animal, such as cowhide or sheepskin. It is considered to be of higher quality than synthetic leather, as it is more durable and has a more natural look and feel.

Split leather, on the other hand, is made from the lower layers of an animal hide. It is typically softer, more pliable, and has a more textured surface than genuine leather.  The surface of the split leather generally is pu materials.

PU leather, or polyurethane leather, is a synthetic leather material that is designed to look and feel like genuine leather. It is made by coating a base material, usually polyester or cotton, with a layer of polyurethane. This gives the material a leather-like texture and appearance.

Microfiber leather is the abbreviation of microfiber polyurethane synthetic (faux) leather. It is a higher grade of synthetic leather. Microfiber leather is a popular alternative to genuine leather because it is more affordable and easier to maintain. It is also more environmentally friendly than genuine leather, as it does not require the use of animal hides.
